🎁 This holiday season, our HOSA Club is teaming up with Peel Regional Police for the Toys for Tots drive! 🎄 We’re collecting new, unwrapped toys for infants to teens. Each homeroom, like our amazing grade 12 students here, has come together for this meaningful cause. 💕 In a season often marked by giving, it’s heartwarming to see their kindness and generosity shine through. With guidance from their amazing teacher, Ms. Little, our Student Council came together to spread some festive cheer. They worked hard to set up a stunning Christmas tree and beautiful decorations throughout the school. Now, every time we walk through the doors, we’re greeted with warmth and holiday joy! 🎅🎁

Learning Through Play! 🎲
Our Grade 8 students have been busy combining creativity with financial literacy in Design class! They created educational board games to showcase their understanding of concepts like budgeting, saving, and smart financial decisions. 💡
After designing their games with incredible detail, they presented them to classmates and tested them out in fun, interactive play sessions. This hands-on project was not only a great way to apply their learning but also to share it with others in a creative and engaging way.

This week, LRS is embracing the theme Choose Kindness. 💕 Through daily activities and challenges, we’re building a culture of compassion and care.
We kicked off with a powerful assembly by Mr. Ackers and Project Connect, where students shared positive messages and made kindness pledges. Tuesday’s highlight? Grade 9 French students reflected on kindness en français with Mme. Ayache! 🌟
