Earlier this month, our high school team took on the SSAF U20 Co-Ed Flag Football Tournament! 🏈
With each game, the team improved, showing passion, creativity, and determination to reach the end zone. Shoutout to our captain, Aiden, for scoring THREE touchdowns, backed by the unwavering support of his teammates! 🎉 They truly embodied the IB Learner Profile traits, being caring, principled communicators on and off the field. 🏆 At the end, the refs made a special effort to commend our students’ effort and sportsmanship.

Our Grade 11 students have kicked off their Poetry unit by exploring the Harlem Renaissance, a time of celebrating Black culture, art, and music. 🎨✨ After some research, they enjoyed a Gallery Walk to dive deeper into the era’s creativity.
Meanwhile, Grade 9 is working on memoirs! Before reading Baghdad Burning, they explored the social and political context of the author’s world, and are now preparing to write their own stories. ✍️📖
